Indiana Wedding weekend.

Last weekend we headed to Indiana for Josh and Taya's wedding.  The drive there was HORRIBBLE. Tedd was out in the field the whole week and I had no clue when he was getting home.
When he finally did get home we had to leave at midnight.  Neither one of us could stay awake AT ALL.  We were thanking God BIG TIME when we made it there safely!  After catching a nap we were much better :)  Calvin went with us and was PERFECT the entire time!  He was good in the car and perfect in the hotel.  Here he is chillin' on the hotel bed :)

Here we are on our way to the rehearsal dinner.
Somehow this is the only picture I have of the bride!
Her beautiful Dress!
 Kylee, Me and Megan!
And a picture of Tedd and I dancing!!!

Branson Marriage Retreat

A few weekends ago we got to go to a Marriage Retreat through the Army.  They put you
up in a really nice place (more like a fancy apartment) and it is all expenses paid.  We spent most
of the weekend in lectures from the the Chaplain.  He mostly discussed the 5 love languages
but we learned a lot and had a lot of fun!
The retreat was in Branson.

The Last night we were there we got a gift card to eat at Famous Dave's Barbeque.  This is one side of the table: Hall, his wife Irene and their two kids.
Then there is Alana, Harvey, Tedd and I!
It wouldn't be a real trip unless we stopped at a Candy store right? lol.  And no Tedd did not actually purchase this giant gummy bear.
Oh you mean 40 year old men don't always eat sugar candy directly from the dispenser? HAHA

FREE Market!

I had yesterday off work.  When I got on facebook to see what was going on around the base, I read about a "free market".  "Free" caught my interest.  I decided to see what it was all about.  It was basically a giant room with tables set up at the Main Post Chapel.  When I walked in there were ladies there handing you bags.  All they said was, "take as much as you want! Fill your bags, there is NO limit"
I'm not going to lie to you, I felt like I was stealing!  But I got a lot of good stuff!  I got some toys, stuffed animals, brand new DVDS, VHS tapes, books, a cute blanket, and kids clothes. Some of the toys still had tags on them!  I brought everything home and washed it and its now in the "kids room".  Pretty cool!

I can not count how many times in the last 3 weeks I have sat down to blog.  About 2 sentences in I think...*eh. I'm over it* haha.  So I do apologize.  I have had multiple phone messages and text messages saying things like, "ummm hello?  This is your dad (or other family member or friends).  Maybe you've forgotten about me.  Are you alive?"  Ok so maybe it wasn't EXACTLY like that, but pretty much.

The last two weeks I have worked third shift.  Let me just say I am not cut out for working while the rest of the world is sleeping.  The good news is, I was only on that shift for training.  I am now on my normal shift again (YAY)

Not too much has been going on around here.  Tedd passed his PT test this morning with an even higher score than he's ever gotten.  I'm very proud of him!

One day a few weeks ago Calvin FINALLY started losing his puppy teeth.  Now he's got pretty white front teeth.  He actually reminds me of that funny "doggie denture" commercial hahaha.

There are very often random army men at our house.  Any of you who know me well know that I affectionately refer to all of them as "strays"  I'd say maybe they show up because they want a nice home-cooked meal, or maybe because we had some big tv and cable or something.  Oh wait.  Cooking? What exactly does that entail?  Psh just kidding.  We still have a dumpster tv, no cable...and goodness knows its a really good day when there is something in the crock pot  LOL Maybe they just enjoy our company? haha.
Anyway tonight at work Tedd and a stray came and had dinner with me.  It was fun :)
I think we may actually be doing something fun this weekend! Maybe I'll blog about it? Tedd also might be in the field and gone next week.  It seems that uncertainty is the way we roll around here.

And last, if the Lord is willing and the creek don't rise we will be seeing many of you very soon.  I'm not going to lie, I wish I didn't have to see Indiana again so soon.  But as much as I Love me my Missouri I will love a break from the GIANT (I can't even explain the massive proportions) beetles! And of course we like to see all you wonderful people as well ;)
