Sunday 10-31

Devotions: Check. I've decided that Ezekial is not the book of the Bible for me to start on. It is way over my head for now. I really want to stick with this so I will be beginning a different book tomorrow. I also have still been doing my online daily devotion.

Work Out: Just got home from hitting the gym with Tedd. We both had a good work out. I did 45 minutes of cardio and then some strength training for my arms as well. I have to say I'm proud of myself :) I've done 4 days so far this week, compared to not a single day last week. Being proud of yourself feels really good!

I plan to work late tomorrow. I have set a timeline/goal for myself that is pretty lofty and I will have to put in some extra hours to accomplish it. I also have to develop a presentation for Thursday (that I have not even started lol). I am speaking at "Career Day" at a Warsaw High School. Fun Fun huh? Sometimes I ask myself how I get so far in over my head lol.
Oh well. It will all be ok right?

Saturday 10-30

Work Out: Check, 30 minutes on the elliptical

Wednesday October 27

I worked out at the gym with Tedd tonight! :) Its nice to spend quality time together while getting healthy. I did 45 minutes of cardio and also some strength training. I worked 12 hours today so i was pretty tired. lol

I also started reading in Ezekial today for my devotions. Its very confusing so far. I think I need to read it along with a reference, so that i can better understand it.

Missions accomplished!
Good Night!

Tuesday, October 26th

I did it! I just did devotions. And tonight I did an hour of cardio + strength training. Good start!

Psalm 18:32, "It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect." (NIV)

Accountability

So lately I've been a total slacker.
For. Real. So I'm going to start blogging for accountability lol. The two things I want to be accountable for? Daily Devotions and Exercise. I get a wonderful daily e-mail devotion from Proverbs 31 ministries that I do read every day. However, I would like to add more time reading the bible and in prayer. So that is goal number 1.
Goal number two is to get myself to the gym. Tedd and I got a membership to anytime fitness, so there is REALLY no excuse. I can work out only 10-12 minutes away 24/7. Last week I did not go a single time!! I would like to drop a few more pounds but MOST importantly I need to become stronger and healthier.

So, I am going to TRY to blog every day about my food choices, exercise and my devotions. My goal is to do devotions every day and work out 4-6 times weekly.

Here goes nothing! If the thought makes you bored out of your mind, at least you've been forewarned!~ lol

LHOTP

As many of you know we do not watch normal television at our house. We do however have a tv hooked up to a dvd player only to watch movies. About 4-5 months ago I was sick and home from work for a few days. I asked Tedd to go to the movie store and rent me a series of some kind. BOY OH BOY did he make a big mistake!!!

He rented... Season 1 of Little House on the Prairie. Ever since I started, I've been hooked. Every time I want to unwind I sit down and watch an episode. Yesterday we rented Season 8 lol. I'm sure Tedd is regretting that decision now lol. I'm not quite sure what I will do when I run out of seasons. Any suggestions?

Playing Catch up

So much has happened since I've posted last!

---> My cousin Audra is engaged (YAY) and I'm the Matron of Honor
-My cousin Josh is engaged and Taya asked me to be a bridesmaid!
- The BlueRiver Boys have been VERY busy playing shows...what can I say? Bluegrass is in high demand lol
- We got Brodie the goat a buddy. We named him Norton. When we got him it didn't take long for us to realize he was sick! He had pneumonia, so they had to be seperate for a while. But now that they are together, they think they are in heaven. They are the BEST of friends. We love to watch them run and play together.
-When I was 12 (and i lived at home obviously) I got a kitten named Buddy. When I got married he stayed at mom and dads. He developed a very large tumor on his leg over the past months. I decided that him living with three legs was better than being put to sleep. SO... we amputated his leg, he lived here for a few weeks to recover and now he's back at mom and dad's doing great!
-Amos may have a heart issue :(. We're waiting on the expert to read the x-rays. He's like my child so pray for him!
- I bought Amos his halloween costume!!! Pictures to come :)
- We got a gym membership to a 24 hour facility. We're LOVING it! Its a great way for us to spend time together.
- I finally bought curtains for the living and dining rooms...long overdue. lol
- I got my nose pierced...don't judge. Well i guess you can if you want. I don't mind.
- The garden is finally finished. Now we just have to spread the manure on it.
- Tedd's job is going well, we're thankful that he's still working!
- My job is busy but going well. We'er getting ready to start deer-breeding season which means even longer hours...wooo hoo
- Tedd bought two 3-wheelers. He's VERY excited about them! THey both need a little work. But he's having fun fixing them up too.
- I'm trying to practice the mandolin as well as the fiddle. Did I mention that I plan on being on stage to perform at the Grand Ole Opry by the time I'm 35?

Things are going well...pictures to come. I really hope this was not the most boring thing you have ever read. OH, and I don't care about all the the grammer mistakes. I'm well aware :)
